Honestly, the life of a male also begins at 0 in many such cases.... a lot of us enjoyed childhood a fair bit. Just look at Elliott Rodger. He describes how his hell began around the time of puberty, which served as a stark contrast to his rather pleasurable childhood.
It's even worse, experiencing happiness in the first 12 or so years of life, and then the misery mounts... honestly the peak of misery is probably somewhere around 18-25 of course. But unless doing something drastic (i.e. SEAmaxx), the notion that it gets better is cope.
Femoids get to experience just as good of a childhood, and then realize how life gets even better post-puberty for most of them. Things just stay great for them all the way until middle age sets in. But they were handed a decent life on a silver platter. All that's required for them is to not fuck it up too much and have some common sense. For males, it is like a life-and-death battle where the odds are stacked against you and there's no straightforward solution to your problems.
