State of a gaming industry this is just sad and fucked up. When will it stop? It seems like zoomers migrating from consoles to PC is the reason why we are seeing so many garbage demakes of old pc games too, so it's not just cancer that stings just multi plat games but native pc titles. You can't really unfuck dow1 with mods as it's a shitty 32 bit engine so you are on mercy of those incompetent retards that should just release patch for free, but asks for $30 for a broken new edition.


Almost forget to add: MGS3 demake on UE5 slop will be also launched within 2 weeks. What a messed up month of broken and unfaithful to the og game titles.

I don’t know much about engines but the MGS3 remake will not have gameplay on par with MGSV. Metal Gear as a franchise officially ended by 2015.

btw was CDprojekt worshiped in Poland just like 2K Czech/Daniel Vavra (Mafia series) here

Probably to not as much degree as Illusion Softworks/Vavra but still when people were talking about rpgs past 2007 everything was compared to Wiedźmin. Everything was Witcher-likes. CDP before Witcher 1/2 was mostly known as a game publisher and i had shitload cheap reedition games made by them. eXtra klasyka was really cheap and had to many good games. They were fighting with Cenega (Actually very connected to Bohemian Interactive and came from Czech) which also had amazing collection of cheap games (but less cheap). They were purchased by Russian 1C at some point from what i remember, and then Tencent bought them but they have become irrelevant to me just like CDP (non red) both don't publish anything anymore of a value. Now you either buy game for 300pln or pirate or wait for deep sales. Gaming in 2025 sucks balls nothing is physical anymore.

They weren't tiny they were damn big publisher not just localizer they had their games sent to every store that was selling PC and console titles all around the country. Every Empik shelve was filled with their published titles. They were earning good money that's how they could easily buy rights for Witcher from dead Metropolis
