Often people say that I am a very scary person.

I scare the shit out of my neighbors.

I was just outside a couple days ago, smoking a cigarette.
Listening to a couple of my neighbors talk about me inside their apartment.

But, I have never done anything to them.

The thing is, I don’t know why people find me so scary.

My family has never been afraid of me.

I certainly don’t try to be scary.
In fact, I try to be nice to everyone.

But, being nice never does me any good.

I’ve lived here for years…..and no one has ever invited me to do anything.

I think I am just misunderstood, due to my schizophrenia.

I know I must seem strange.
But, I just want to be one of the guys.
