I suspect nothing is really going to come from this. There's a few things I can see happening.
The first of which being—this might be just another attempt to make an 'announcement' about something people want to know about, indicating that it will take some time, and hope that people just forget about it. This is the standard Republican strategy when they want to sweep something under the rug. If the GOP tries this, it's really going to show how out of touch they are. This is just too big at this point to hide.
Second being—it is a release of some made-up nonsense that has nothing to really do with Epstein, and is just released to get people to calm down. It'll be largely insignificant, and the GOP will gauge just how effective it is in calming down the general public.
Third being—it is a completely fabricated and/or altered form of the list, with all traces of MOSSAD or connections to Israel being taken out, along with anyone of significance on the 'client list.'
I'm not sure how effective the second or third scenario would be, as I would think people are smart enough to see through such obvious deception, but I've been proven wrong before.
