The reason why I post so many polls is because they're low-effort but still get engagement regardless. I just lack the motivation or energy to even try anymore, that's why 90% of my posts are on the sewers. Most users don't even bother reading the multiple page-long shit in the must read section, your efforts are in fucking vain and you get nothing for it. It's best to give up when your audience doesn't give a shit about you, it's better still to never try in the first place.
And if I were to actually try to actually type out these posts, it'd be fucking agonising: I'd be like an autist trying to ensure every single arbitrary combination of letters is perfect and true to the vision in my head, fucking hell; I'm doing that right now. It would take hours out of my life and ultimately change nothing, all that time would be fruitlessly pissed away when I could instead be doing something that would see e a return on investment in some regard.
Most people that end up actually typing shit on ID go for the most low-hanging fruit that everyone here would agree with, basically by parroting what many users already believe which makes those users feel validated so they consequently show support to the original poster despite them not contributing anything original or insightful to the discussion about inceldom. I'm not the one to say shit that everyone likes in order to get them to like me, I'm not treating .is as a popularity contest that I need to win, I'd only want to say something genuinely progressive and insightful.
