back then when I was kid, I frequently got obssessed with studying/getting into certain topics, especially collecting stuff like toys, plants or rocks
I usually ended up abandoning those things only to replace them with something else real quick, rinse and repeat
nowadays it's kinda the same;
-can't get my shit together for gymmaxxing, so I train very inconsistently
-wanting to moneymaxx but too lazy to look for a low end job on the meantime
-grinding in videogames only to abandon them a month later (which I also did as a kid)
-getting into an anime/a specific song then forgetting it even existed a week afterwards
-wanting to learn a specific skill, but too lazy or unmotivated to keep learning
-wanting to change your routine yet never end up actually doing it
it's prolly one of my worst habits tbh, like getting really into stuff for a moment then instantly dropping all of it cuz I lost interest/simply forgot about it
If you ask me the reason why I think it's because we've been alone all the time and want something to fill out our boredom, for the lack of a better sentence. Yet at the same time we lack the motivation in order to fill those blanks which I think it's pretty ironic tbh, kinda like an endless loop.
