Lately I've noticed that I cringe alot when a romantic moment is being displayed before me when I watch whatever show or film or even when I play a video game. It just looks so cheezy, no matter how hard the producer tries to make it seem realistic.

I guess due to the realization that I can't find love a side of my brain responsible for romance and love simply shut down, making me incapable to sympathize or relate to the characters. Idk, I just find them distasteful and simply wait for it to pass to move on with the show.

I usually skip it, i feel jealous asf

The acting is usually awkward as hell.

Not cringe but it fills me with despair, rage, and envy.

It's crazy that romance is treated as such a universal human experience that everything includes as a way of achieving a relatable emotional high in a narrative, It's even added onto stories that have a much more interesting premise to explore.

What's worse, in some shows they actively promote cuck behavior by making the male lead look "selfless" by being happy that his oneitis chose someone else besides him. With the mentality of "at least she's happy :soy:".

Yea, the thing is most normies eat that shit up. I remember as a kid I was fed that shit through cartoons. Good thing my instinct and intuition were right.

I get pissed off and envious and just skip through the scene.

Same here
I skip all the sex scenes as well which ruins the movie for me

Holy shit i fucking cry of cringe when I watch normiefag shows, makes me want to fucking punch myself.

Imagine watching jewcrap. Anime romance is actually depicted in a God-approved way and its not fake contrived nonsense but contains true passion.

Same, I often have to pause a video/movie/series when they do something overly romantic since I cringe myself too hard as if I’m a kid

it’s easier to like romantic stuff if you had hope to begin with

once all that hope is gone it’s seen as annoyance

it stops feeling aspirational and starts feeling like mockery

every song, scene, couple, or “soft moment” just reminds you of something you were never allowed to access

That's why I don't watch shows, they jam in necessary romantic moments/scenes for no reason at all. I used to fast foward the sections, not worth the effort anymore.

kissing scenes enrage me to this day and did ever since. something about lips smacking fucking disgusts me. same goes with watching other people have sex in movies.

There's other things than sex in life bro:soy: sex is not important:foidSoy: Meanwhile they simply can't skip romance scenes in movies, almost no matter what it's about and like 99% of songs are about love. There are other things where normies can get a "rush" than love, but that proves that it's just a cope.
