I work and often spend all day without saying a word apart from hello/goodbye. And I'm not even remote.
Aside from this site the only people I talk to irl are my religious, boomer helicoptER parents. And I barely say two sentences to them most days
Well yeah, but the interactions at work don't really count unless you got a friend there or something. At least for me it's forced and minimal, I lost the ability to socialize.
Depends on the job I guess. I work in construction, if I don't speak I might die from someone not seeing me and throwing stuff from above.
I barely talk to anybody outside of my immediate family. This forum is one of my few remaining avenues for socialising.
