It seemed really strange at the time, but when you start high school, no one knows anything about you. But over the course of a few weeks you have a few interactions with students your own age, mostly negative, and the next second everyone in the year thinks you're weird, strange, annoying etc and you're immediately ostracised, hated by everyone, picked on and it's over for you.

It's like the few normies you did interact with detected your poor looks and social awkwardness within seconds and immediately after sent out the bat signal to inform everyone else that you're an annoying weirdo freak and that no one should associate with you ever, because they didn't like your looks. People I never interacted with ever knew me as the weird friendless freak who they should avoid. It's a similar level of ostracisation a sex offender would receive, yet you're on trial for your looks.

When I was 14-15 I got a card in my apartment mailbox disguised as a love letter, but it was a hate letter literally signed by the whole class lmao, and worst of all it was my mother who found it, she tossed it and I looked through the garbage bags for it so i'd find the names of the people and preferably hurt them or beat them or find some small way of revenge, but it was a daydream as there isn't much you can do about what 17+ people messing with you and I didn't find it, but they giggled about it the day after in class.
