I don't get how normies brush their teeth so fast, it literally takes me 20 minutes. I don't even get how people brush with their mouth mostly closed, that's mind blowing to me. I have to literally prize my mouth open with my fingers simultaneously as I'm brushing just to see I'm brushing correctly in a gentle circular motion.

Maybe its because I have a small mouth but its impossible for me to brush like most people. And they don't even fuckin floss! that alone is a pain in the arse even with an incidental floss pick. I just don't know how the fuck people brush so fast without damaging their gums an yet most people brush like this with their mouth closed, 2 minute job, then they're done. Some days its literally taken me 40 fuckin minutes to floss, scrape, brush all areas. Even then I sometimes fuck my gums which then takes days to heal, yet another thing that alienates from us normies :whatfeels: .

Its always the typical forward an back motion you see not the correct circular motion. How are you even supposed to know what ur brushin exactly if ur mouth is closed, I don't understand how people do it. They don't even use mouth wash either or scrape their tongue, dirty bastards..

You have very clean teeth
I do mostly but they ain't white that's for sure, tea and coffee stains them, makes them discoloured over time. I don't brush twice a day as suggested, cba at night at all because I'm always so tired at that point, and I eat late at night.

I brush when I wake up that's it and even that's a fuckin chore, it's honestly the worst part of my day because it takes me fuckin ages to floss an brush an then I have to wait another half hour before I can eat to let the enamel settle. Maybe I should buy an electric brush but that would probably still take me 40 minutes.

Electric toothbrush maxx

OCD hits hard on self hygiene
Maybe its an anxiety thing or OCD in general, I definitely have anxiety which affects me in so many ways. I'm very indecisive to the point where I hesitate every fuckin decision, even something as simple as choosing a chocolate bar in a sweet shop or deciding which game to play. This manifests itself into brushing because I take longer than necessary with the correct circular motion on each tooth, brushing too thoroughly then before u know it my gums are damaged from being abrasive, story of my life.

narrow palate + recessed maxilla, that's the reason

Never heard of that, I do have a small mouth, that's why I have to open my mouth with my fingers as I'm brushing it. Normies do it completely with their mouth closed which doesn't make sense to me, you need to see what ur brushin otherwhise ur not doing a proper job. In he past I've had gum recession like a lot of people as a result of neglect, but dentist said its stopped now due to consistently brushing even once a day. But I did have to have 3 fillings recently because I cba brushing at night, its the worst time for me to brush at night because I'm tired and I eat late. Yet it considered the most important time to remove plaque before you sleep.

Just occurred to me that I might actually have some form of OCD, as someone on reddit just suggested to me. This explains why I'm abnormal in many ways from brushing to socialising. I can't even have my dinner without watching catch up or somethin, its almost a ritual. When I boil the kettle I have to press it repeatedly to ensure its as hot as possible. I've returned countless tvs because I'm never satisfied, I'm talkin 20 tvs in total which is fucked.

I struggle to be proactive as I get overwhelmed with how to be proactive exactly, can't tie knots or even ride a bike which is embarrassing. I read over my own posts multiple times after I've just written it. I've always attributed it to generalised anxiety which I definitely have, never considered ocd. Some even suggested asperger's, I can communicate really well both verbally and written, but I've always struggled to socialise and fit in. I know genetics are a factor but these other traits don't help either :whatfeels: .

Is your mouth just messed up in shape and that's why it's hard to brush, or is it just OCD?

I do it in 30 seconds

How long does it take to glide across each tooth?
You can glide it across just as fast as a regular brush if you want to, but you're supposed to do it a little slower so that it can properly clean each tooth with the spinning motion
