I don't know about you, but I like the evil people in the story.

It's not just ER and Alek Minasssian, Davision, and all of the other incel killers, but it's any evil person in general. Whether that character would be fictional or real.

Every time you watch a video about a mass shooter, you take their side and see the court as the villan trying to keep a dystopian society in check. Regardless of who dies and what the heroes are fighting for you take the side of the villain.

Examples:
I rooted for Omni Man and Conquest in Invincible because they kill normies.

I root for mass killers regardless of who they kill. Everyone except for terrrorists.

I root for terrorists when the military is fighting against them.

I secretly root for Russia just because they're killing Ukranians

I've always liked criminals over police officers, Regardless of what crime they commit.

I root for every Marvel/DC villan because they're destroying soyciety.

Ironically, that's cheering for the people who foids lust over

I used to root for Team Rocket in Pokemon.

I usually root for the heros irl, but in fiction a good written villain is very much rooted for-
Like tai - lung in kong fu panda, or the joker.

Im not a massive hardcore toy collector, but I collect some decepticon figures

I don’t cheer for the “bad” guy in a senseless manner, but in Elliot Rodger’s case, for example, he was justified in his actions. I can’t say the same for some of the other examples you listed.

I was like this as a kid. I felt bad for the carnivorous dinosaurs in The Land Before Time and other movies like that. I always cheered for the T-Rex, but they always ended up empty-handed. I wondered if other people thougth the same things and I thought that it was wrong that the cooler dinosaurs were framed as "evil" just because they were trying to eat and survive.

The only difference between that being a truecel trait and Rich Ramirez thoughts are a few milímeters of bone (i algo cheer up on villain )

Frigging tuff

I didn't realize it yet, but I wasn't actually cheering for the villains, I was cheering for the losers. In fiction, especially in cartoons, the villains always lose and are pathethic. Maybe that's why we liked their characters, we saw ourselves in them (except the T-Rex, I liked it just because he's cool).

Ive always cheered for the anti-hero and the villans. In harry potter, i liked malfoy

based af.

the coding of the message is: good guys in movies always win, ergo if you win in real life you're the good guy. but good guys irl normally lose.

that and good winning is boring.
