https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/21982312/ (Sample : 2 416 men, Average age: 75.4, Mean TT: 454 ng/dl)
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/31019640/ (Sample : 382 men, Average age : 64, Mean TT: 567 ng/dl)
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2902069/ (Sample : 1445 men, Average age: 61, Mean TT: 583 ng/dl)
All of these studies were done on randomly selected healthy, non obese men. Two of the studies studied the releationship between testosterone levels and cardiovascular disease and both reached the same conclusion that testosterone levels below 550 ng/dl, even with adjusting for all other factors significantly increase the risk of CV disease.
Study 1:
"During a median 5-year follow-up, 485 CV events occurred. Both total testosterone and SHBG levels were inversely associated with the risk of CV events (trend over quartiles: p = 0.009 and p = 0.012, respectively). Men in the highest quartile of testosterone (≥550 ng/dl) had a lower risk of CV events compared with men in the 3 lower quartiles (hazard ratio: 0.70, 95% confidence interval: 0.56 to 0.88). This association remained after adjustment for traditional CV risk factors and was not materially changed in analyses excluding men with known CV disease at baseline (hazard ratio: 0.71, 95% confidence interval: 0.53 to 0.95). In models that included both testosterone and SHBG, testosterone but not SHBG predicted CV risk"
Study 2:
"The study results showed that T-T is independently and inversely associated with WBPT in male patients with traditional cardiovascular risk factor and no history of cardiovascular disease. In addition, this study suggests that the incidence of primary cardiovascular events can be prevented by maintaining T-T at approximately ≥ 550 ng/dL from the perspective of blood rheology."
TRT has also been proven to signifacantly decrease the risk of heart attack, stroke and all cause mortality in people with low T, further proving the cardioprotective effects of testosterone:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/26248567/
The third study showed that people with TT in the bottom 2.5 procent of the population (below 350 ng/dl) are at a significantly higher risk of mobility limitiations.
So, the question is, what should we consider as low? In my opinion (and it's not gonna be a popular one here) anything below 550 ng/dl should be considered as low given than now 2 independent studies have shown that testosterone levels below 550 ng/dl significantly increase the risk of CV disease and CV disease is the leading cause of death worldwide.

Also according to the data 550 is below the average for a 64 yr old.

If I remember correctly, I had 416 ng/dl. I was 20 or 21 at this pont. It is truly over.

over for low t-cels. Also if you are low-t and have severe cystic acne or dht-sensitive hair follicles its even more over, since you can't inject like normal people can.

Is it really causation and not correlation? Are they clear about this? How did they find out? Maybe those health probems are there because people with low t levels are usually uglier and therefore mistreated by society, kinda like with autists.

tbh I hope I die young

Just inject some.

Why not?

Actually there are some studies that clearly show people that are social outcast, victims in childhood etc. have quite low T because of the said things.

They even made an experiment of injecting T in low status male monkey and he ended up socializing, sometimes even becoming a leader.

Funny thing is, the physician told me everything is alright. Of course I know this is bullshit. He is on a higher level and therefore is in charge. We even got into some weird argument where he told me, I do not know what I am talking about and I should stop seeing things... I just asked why the levels of testosterone is shown as a span. Average testosterone for young people are 2,5 - 9 (by the way back then it was 3,5 - 11,5)... They need to get lower in order to maintain the illusion that men are average in testosterone which is not true at all. Lol at adjusting the value afterwards. This does not make any sense at all. Imagine having exactly 2,5 while some other man have a decent value of 8+. But we know why that is. They would have to give 80% of men additional testosterone.

Now you need to have less than 250 ng/dl to get prescribed, but 15-20 years before you could have got on TRT if you had under 500 ng/dl, and the scale was 500 to 1500

Just buy test from the black market. It's cheaper and you get to dose yourself and pick the protocol. Most guys need to inject once a week and if you get prescribed by a doc, he might put you to inject every 2-3 weeks with some small amount of test. You'd feel even worse.

I bought mine and will update u guys when I start, it will deliver in 7-10 days.

This is absolutely ridiculous. That also means that they are aware of the current situation but instead of help they make it even worse. Just lower your standard brah...

Perhaps I might visit a sport phyisician. They are more likely to help out.

Do you inject once every week or more frequently? Do you also work out? What about your nutrition in general? Do you take anything else? Whey protein, creatine monohydrate, arginine, vitamind D3 or even growth hormones, perhaps even estrogen blocker in combination with testosterone? Sounds interesting to me. Tag me then.

I'm just about to start injecting it. I bought it 2 days ago but it still has not delivered xD. However if you want I'l PM u when it does, I'l send u a pic of it.

I plan to do sports again but as for right now I can't even work. I had some injuries and you can call me a disabledcel for the next 6 months or so lol. I use to play soccer and swimming, I sucked but it was fun.

I plan to take those when I start working again. HGH is expensive but I got a good source for that too. I will definitely take it because it will do good for my injuries too. I feel pain in my leg and arm almost every day. HGH usually reduces this to zero.

If you get on TRT, you might need estrogen blockers. Some people don't, but some do. I will definitely have to use them because I plan to push my testosterone to around 1500 or more. Reason is, they say it can help A LOT with confidence and social anxiety at those levels. I hope it works for me.

Lol, my doctor said that at 360ng I was a bit low but not low enough for treatment. This was at 25.

Luckily i'm 606ng at age 42, probably due to weights and taking zinc and cleaner diet, but i still feel low T. A have low energy and sometimes go for 2 weeks without wanting to wank.

90% guys on TRT need levels around 800+ to even feel stable.

That would be quite handy.

That sounds arousing to me. By the way, are you on no fap as well?

I am forced to be on no fap. Whenever I fap, I don’t feel good for 2 days. It is draining too much energy from me and I've been said that is a huge sign of low T as well.

I don't plan to stay on no fap mode once I get my energy back.

I've always doubted about "Total T". My total T is pretty high, last exams it was 650ng/ml and i'm 35.

The problem is that i'm in the low range of "Available T", which is the quantity of testosterone that the body can have at his disposal immediately.

I've tried to ask for trt but they say that the levels are within the range so blah blah.

If you are American and willing to pay, you can get around that. Cost usually around $200 per month.

Yes, I would definitely take test if it didn't mean I'd lose all my hair
