When i was a truck driver carrying explosive materials i often fantasised about crashing into normie cars. Little shitty 1.5 tonne cars has no chance with 44 tonnes behemoth.

Btw if you look at the photos from this crash, the CHP had to put a tarp around one of the vehicles that was smashed.

Yes, semi trucks are dangerous and mighty af.
They're so heavy that regular brakes aren't enough, because if you use them too often, your disc brakes will start to fire, because of too much friction and force.
That's why heavy duty vehicles has a retarder - which directly puts a load on a drive, to deccelerate it without need of using casual brakes.
