I never had a dorm, always commuted back and forth between uni and home. There are some dorms, but didn't have the money to afford it. Most people commuted home to uni and back and forth where I live. Probably mostly an American phenomenon to have extensive dorms and engage is such culture. Then again obviously the girl has to be attracted to you first for it to happen (and bring her to your dorm or her bringing you to her dorm anyways.

I can't relate, people avoid me on every possible way. No college and friends for my looks and being non-NT. Besides higher education is free in my country, so the only expense is renting flat or dorm and food.
