BTW I've kept wearing old socks for a long time too, even up to the point that all my toes could fit through the hole at the same time.
But as of recent, I've started to buy new socks.

I can understand that most outcasts don't put much effort into their appearance. It's just not worth it, because you know nobody cares either way.
Normies get the causality all wrong.
Most people who don't take showers/change their clothes regularly etc BECAME that way AFTER getting depressed/being bullied etc.
