I suppose for the very same reason? Isn't ftm a lot less common than mtf? This would help my assertion because only the ugliest of women would attempt ftm, which there are not very many of.
On the contrary, most mtf are just below average to average, so you get a lot more of them attempting to transition. As we know all too well, life as a below average to average male is tough, so there is a lot to gain from transitioning at these levels.
Have you ever noticed the discrepancy between the two? There are things like sissies and femboys, and the amount of people that identify with these two are staggering. You don't find these kind of numbers with females. To me, this suggests they do it out of an opportunity to escape life as a male.

I think a lot of males grow up without ever really learning how to be males tbh. Combine that with the obvious(but perhaps partially subconscious to normies) fact that foids live life on developer mode compared to men, and you're going to get a lot of men who genuinely wish they were foids. There are other factors too, like some trannys fetishizing the state of being attracted to themselves, the media and elite reshaping culture to direct people(especially children and teenagers) to this type of thinking, and probably just the reality of there being effeminate men(doesn't make them women though, sorry Jews) who get coerced by said culture into hating themselves, the same culture that tells them that they aren't men at all.

Seems comparatively rare to me. Very rare. Foids tend to transition to "agender" or "non-binary" which just means they continue their decent into looking like an alien and pretending that that counts as a personality.
Weird that so many people would want to give up, or choose not to claim, all that sweet sweet male privilege.
This is my main point really. My thought is that there is nothing to gain as a female when you transition ftm - frankly you will be in a much worse position. For a male however, there is plenty to gain when you transition especially if you can look somewhat convincing.
This is certainly done out of opportunity.
