Whey. Casein is for pros, youre supposed to take casein before going to sleep. You can take whey when you want.
To be honest, unless youre actually trying to get muscle mass, just eating protein everyday (steaks, fish, etc.) + healthy food (rice, vegetables, fruit, more meat lol) is enough. I had to take protein shakes because my subhuman stomach cant handle huge quantities of food every day, so i started to lose weight while gymmaxxing (and when youre only 60 kg, its actually dangerous)
If you have no problem eating large quantities of food everyday, you probably dont need protein powders or any other stuff.
Good luck. I gave up after a year, because my genetics dont allow me to grow muscle and because going to the gym as an incel is pure suifuel: gyms are the places where most chads per square meter you can fin.
