i am 100% sure today something bad is going to happen or has happened. looks like an ordinary decent day except, it doesnt feel like it.

its a bit rainy where i am, currently outside waiting for my bus. i like the smell outside when it rains on dry ground, its called petrichor i think. i usually open my window in my room so i can let it in, very relaxing.

its kinda eerie how in towns and cities, you rarely see the same face twice. i mean say one of those metropolises like Tokyo, which is one of the most populous cities in the world, and its like, imagine randomly being approached by a guy and all of a sudden you have a good conversation with him, you are invited to drink with him, you accept. you start walking with him, and suddenly, you loose sight of him in a crowd.

i now understand why its so common to see someone ask for someones number in media and movies. you dont think too much behind it, its usually "well i want/need to talk to them again", but in reality its "i dont want to lose them". its a bit gay if you said that out loud, now that i read it back, however my point still stands.

my hands are freezing.

My whole life feels off.

That’s basically the paradox of megacities. Millions of people packed together yet almost every interaction is statistically a one-time event. Your brain treats the encounter like it might matter, but the environment guarantees it probably won’t repeat. In small villages people see the same faces every day, so relationships accumulate naturally and interactions are meaningful.
