Being funny/ witty/ charming is just a whatever factor. Like if you're looking for an amazing sports car, do you really posit high-consideration and care about the shape of a windshield wiper? Compared to the transmission/ horsepower/ color/ shape/ model/ gas mileage/ etc? No... you care more that it just does its job rather than the finer/ better aspects of it.
If a guy is around a bunch of men she wants a guy to look the part more than to act the part. It's still required but because it's so common it's not a WANTED feature, it's a whatever'd feature. She wants the guy to be dominant around a bunch of men. But being witty/ funny/ engaging is ENTERTAINMENT. She can probably find that from another friend who might be better and more compatible with her.
The reason she is with a guy in the form of a relationship is to have value that can be specifically gotten only through a relationship. Can be machiavellian /dark triad but has the primal halo effect to draw in as much overt leverage they want, AND as much covert because of all the people who are willing to do backstabby/ underhanded shit to gain his praise/ association.
Women just want a guy to be dominant, and to have his words/ speech/ behavior to line up. Even if he doesn't have that lined up it's the more genetic/ unchangeable traits that matter more. If they are distinct then they can account for more than bad personality discounts by 50 times.
