Hello, I am asking this because I am genuinely curious, not because I want to be converted or anything. I lost faith a few years ago. Not really related to incel stuff

Back to the main question, how fo you guys do it? The way I see it, the concept of an all loving entity making some people chads and Stacy and others are sub 5 who will never grow past 5'2. Like, that would make me lose faith. I still see a lot of incels who are Christian or Muslim tho.

That's your parents buddy. I have no idea where you're getting this free for all determinism from.. it's not claimed in any of the three Abrahamic religions, it's not claimed anywhere really, not even by the Mormons

When Incels went mainstream on Tiktok most of them are Christians or Catholics. Made absolutely no sense. Plus they were just larping ER and saying "an foid".

i once found a tiktok faggot who said "christ was blackpilled" :worryfeels:

I can see how many people, especially incels, lose their faith in God through negative experiences in life that shape their views, but for me my faith has always stayed constant.

First of all, do not be "religious" or abide by the so called religious practices. This can include prayer reciting, doing the 'father/son/holy spirit cross sign', etc. (not to mention these aren't even stated in the bible - and rather advised against it)

Lots of people who say they are "religious" were never truly wanting a close connection with God in the first place, but rather doing religious actions for self righteousness subconsciously. The Lord tells us to not be 'religious' for these exact reasons.

But we are supposed to do this out of the goodness of our own heart, rather than just "what we should do."

So for me, it was never about how do I keep being religious, but rather that I wanted to keep my relationship with God strong. And negative experiences that I have went through in life just made my faith in the Lord even stronger.

I also have seen the Lord do miracles in my life through prayer, and I cannot deny it.

Some short examples:
- When I was younger a stick poked straight through my eye and the doctors said I should never be able to see again from the amount of damage caused, but I can see perfectly now.

- When I was in my mothers womb, I was supposed to be born with severe physical disabilities. From checkup to checkup, my head circumference had grown around double - and the doctors say that shouldn't have even been possible, and they don't know how it happened.

Also, once you receive the Holy Spirit - with evidence of speaking in tongues, it says in the bible that God dwelleth in you. And when you have received the Holy Spirit, you have a powerful connection with the Lord that man cannot deny.

Many people want to have that connection just through reading the bible and reciting prayers, but as the bible says, to have a true spirit filled connection and faith with the Lord - this must come through the spirit.

And back to your question, how do I keep my faith? :

- Through actually wanting to have a relationship with him, "like no other"
- I cannot deny the miracles he has worked in my life
- The power others have felt once receiving his spirit
- Testimonies from brothers and sisters in the church that shouldn't be scientifically possible

We have some great christ followers on the forum, especially about 10 or so closely devoted to spreading the word on here.

Im glad these miracles have happened for you, honestly id probably still have faith if it wasn't for my parents. My mom's an ex methhead my dad's still a methhead so least to say theyre quite crazy at times. They'd constantly say god was gonna like strike me down or send people to kill me if id misbehave. And the "misbehaving" would be like 8 year old me not playing sports perfectly or being late for school.

Plus they'd beat me and say God told them to do it..my dad in particular literally said he'd go to hell if he didnt beat me.

That basically led me to question my faith, and I decided that it had brought nothing but pain and manipulation for me. So I dropped it.

Sorry to hear that man. Like actually on meth?

Also good to remember, God does support discipline, but clearly not in excess as you mentioned.
I'm thankful now for getting smacks as a child so I didn't turn out and be rude, argumentative, and have no fear or respect for my parents.

I think you might like to read these verses regarding discipline:

Proverbs 23:13-14: "Do not withhold correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with a rod, And deliver his soul from hell".

Proverbs 13:24: "He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly".

So it's good to know not all his bad, but we have all questioned our parents at some point, and of course I have no idea what you are going through.

Yeah, meth, weed probably other stuff just never knew.

Also, I'm aware of those verses. Even if my parents had just hit me, I still think id have kept it.

But like my dad would like be threatening to kill me and shit dude. Ripping out my hair, slamming me, punching me, choking. Made CPS come to the house a lot. My parents also convinced me that CPS was from the devil.

That's terrible, sad to hear

Also, Jesus was kinda blackpilled. He basically said word for word that life is hell and unfair and the rich will get richer while the poor suffer and die. But his way did introduce an institution in which Catholicels ruled for at least a millennium before it went to shit

BP and religion are completely antithetical. I've made a good thread about it if you want

This is just the question of "why does evil exist if God is loving" , i think you should read some philosophy on it or like watch some videos because its interesting. There are some answers like "to grant us free will" or "pain is necessary" but the main one is "we dont know God's intentions". I try to see it as the metaphor of bringing a kid to the doctor. He only sees a big evil man with cold hands that uses scary tools and smells weird. He doesnt know he is getting healed, the parents arent evil, the kid cant comprehend what's going on. So same with God, you don't understabd your soul like he does and once you have reason to believe, you shouldnt let any type of pain impact that belief. But you said you don't wanna be converted , so i'll stop here
