Which is better – to be hated outright, or tolerated?
And why?

"tolerated" has stronger negative connotations.I did a similar thread before. Now I wonder why your ratio of hated is higher than mine.

Would you rather be hated or be ignored/invisible?
Would you rather receive negative attention or no attention at all? I was hated in my high school and I am damn proud to be the loser that I was. Being ignored or invisible in the video game Habbo makes me feel miserable. So it's the former for me.incels.is

yesMaybe it was being invisible that people liked?
Is @NIGGER BOJANGLES currently banned? He hasn't been online in a while but his username isn't crossed out.
he's taking a big (hopefully not permanent) break as he is currently disillusioned with this forum. Is @NIGGER BOJANGLES currently banned? He hasn't been online in a while but his username isn't crossed.

It's to do with pretense.I get your point. But I don't see it. Being tolerated means you're somewhat accepted. Being ignored means active rejection. Maybe it was being invisible that people liked?
Makes sense, ngl.Tolerated.
When you are tolerated you are not being constantly attacked by other people while not being able to defend yourself.

Pretty much when people hate you, you're able to know who your enemies are, for there is no pretense. And you don't have to worry about betrayal.Care to explain?
Then you might as well be hated.worshiped
Egg-xactly!If you have the power to succeed and take while you want while normies watch and groan impotently, then yes, being hated is objectively better than being tolerated, which can be revoked whenever the dominant party feels like doing so.
