And why?

Be a normie or be ugly ahh question

I did a similar thread before. Now I wonder why your ratio of hated is higher than mine.

"tolerated" has stronger negative connotations.

I get your point. But I don't see it. Being tolerated means you're somewhat accepted. Being ignored means active rejection. Maybe it was being invisible that people liked?

Is @NIGGER BOJANGLES currently banned? He hasn't been online in a while but his username isn't crossed.
he's taking a big (hopefully not permanent) break as he is currently disillusioned with this forum.

Its better to be dead than an outcast.

Both goes hand in hand

It's to do with pretense.

Tolerated.

When you are tolerated you are not being constantly attacked by other people while not being able to defend yourself.

to be a betabuxx, or to be an incel

If you have the power to succeed and take while you want while normies watch and groan impotently, then yes, being hated is objectively better than being tolerated, which can be revoked whenever the dominant party feels like doing so.

Care to explain?
Pretty much when people hate you, you're able to know who your enemies are, for there is no pretense. And you don't have to worry about betrayal.

And as you've said, being ignored is active rejection, which is the same as hatred; there is no pretense involved, since you know that people don't care about you.

But when you're tolerated, you don't know who your enemies are, because there's pretense.

The thing about being hated though is this: not only is there clarity, but there is no reason to hold back, since people hate you already. And from there, you could make use of their hate, and work in silence (if you're ignored), and gain power.

As my aunt used to say, "You don't have to like me, but you WILL respect me."

That is easier said than done, it just might be me, being that I value clarity above all else.
