Venting Tired of being the Comic Relief

As a late 20s male I am approaching a time in life where I am tired of being the butt of jokes and getting no respect.
The only time I have social interactions is at work and I have to laugh along as I am the butt of jokes and being the person everyone can dismiss.

I am not sure what I can do as it seems I cannot be part of a social group without being the joke but If I take a stand I will just be left behind and be a total loner who no one interacts with.

I think I will limit my interactions to purely work related and stay at my desk and not interact unless necessary for work
