True, but that's assuming they have a social circle, which you only get if you have friends from back in college or high school or back further that you've been friends with for a while that you can build more friends off of. When people see a loner, they automatically assume the person is weird or creepy or something, instead of thinking hey, maybe the guy was bullied his entire life and never knew how to make friends, so he's alone.
Approaching foids does work, I will admit that. However, there's always the baseline that everyone has. Some people's baseline has a higher number than others. What I mean by that is the amount of foids you need to approach to even get one to consider dating you, or even talk to you. If you're a Chad, your baseline is very low or nonexistent, because Chads don't really need to work to approach any foids, as most foids approach him. But, for a 5'4 balding overbite ricecel in his mid-30s like me, my baseline will be extremely high. Most in my area (Southwest Indiana) will never even think about considering dating me, so I have to approach more foids to get the same number of interest from a Chad.
So yeah, it's not always 100% seriously over for anyone, but when you're constantly rejected for years and years, you are bullied and felt worthless by society and the people who were supposed to love you (like your family) for years and years, it's tough to overcome that mental hurdle, because for so long you think you're not worth shit, and many don't bother even approaching (like me).
