Maybe look into Warlordgames BoltAction, painting minatures is fun and you get around 30 miniatures for 30 euros and of course many tanks and other vehicles

i gonna assume that is diffrent scale, bolt actin is 28mm scale, that means a man at 180cm would be 28mm tall. but if you found the u-boat fun maybe give bolt action a try.
