I'd be lying to you, if I said that it gets better. It only gets worse and you must find the will to fight on and push through. There's a very steep hill that takes immense willpower, but once you get over that part, you will feel serene (for the most part). A part of you dies, instead of all of you. You just learn to let go in a different way, I suppose.
