I think is completely bullshit. Virtue is not intrinsically a good, it is just mean to an end. You want to be smart and knowledgeable to be able to do useful stuff. Not simply because yes. Also most of stoics think "aesthetics" are important. Jfl. Yes in the current soyciety of slightly evolved chimpanzees. But not really. Is completely useless to have a 10/10 face, it doesn't make you smarter or useful in anyway for technological advances.
Stoicism is just the retarded slightly evolved baboon philosophy.
