Sometimes, I do have nihilistic thoughts. Nihilism, in my opinion, means believing that life has no meaning or purpose. It's hard to avoid nihilism because of how much suffering life has. Lots of morality is all subjective, from my own experience. Everyone has a different view of what's right and wrong. Objective morality doesn't really exist. Life itself seems meaningless. It's just: born, survive, and reproduce (we can't reproduce, obviously, but you get the point). Evolution is a blind process. Nihilism is just so depressing sometimes. It's a special type of depression.

I am a christian, but I still have nihilistic thoughts, given the state of this world. world. I really don't like having these kinds of thoughts.

Are any of you nihilist, or do you think nihilism isn't a good philisophy?

Nihilism is the default state of humans. It doesn't prevent people from having beliefs or coping but in the back of your mind you know everything is cope

Everything feels pointless nowadays

Even the blackpill

Not philosophy to hold, like as statement about universe it makes sense but you cant look at a chair and say its purpose its not for sitting.

I'd say the blackpill is nihilistic by nature, since it shows that everything is predetermined, and nothing matters.
That sounds more pessimistic, if you know Schopenhauer. Like the philosophical pessimism

I’ve coped with the Übermensch idea, but I don't have the traits for it. Only chads can truly achieve it. I lost even at nihilism

I'm more pessimistic than nihilistic. Life has meaning it's just that we cannot experience or benefit from its meaning.

If you ask me personally, outside of Christianity since I've given you that response, I can understand nihilism. I've been nihilistic before because it seems like there is no purpose but if you're in Christ Jesus, you do have a purpose. I completely understand people who are nihilistic that haven't got a religious faith because I probably would be also

There is no meaning to anything. Not one single soul that has ever inhabited this planet has ever had meaning. Just their monkey brain screaming and crying out to the void.
