Say there was an oracle like the old Magic 8-ball. This device could tell you if you would ever ascend.
If yes, it won't say how or when, could be next week or at the very end of your life but it will happen before you die.
If the device indicates no. Then you will die a virgin.

Firstly would you want to know?
If you did how would it affect the way you live your life?
