I think I would have had an opportunity way back in time; it would have to be before 1950s. Maybe after world war 1 or 2 when there were fewer men and there was a lot of propaganda to encourage healthy families, so a chick would have settled with me and maybe we could have been happy together.

Probably more than two decades ago, let´s say at least 30 or 40 years ago, but I´m saying this because back in the time female hypergamy was actively repressed - and not state funded like today´s time - and the requirements for a man were both much less demanding and much more attainable.

Because I look the same as my father and he had no problems in getting SEVERAL girlfriends back in 70's and 80's. I'm not from USA though, but my country in last 10-15 years completely transformed into degenerate west, so everything changed much more than in USA/western Europe. We basically went from shitty poorland where everybody had a girlfriend/wife(even if he was ugly, if at least he was a little bit clever enough to have SOME wealth he was golden) to not so shitty not so poorland where half of young guys are incels.
I just wish our culture wasn't completely destroyed by the west but I can't blame west itself. Instead I blame people from my country. They sold their souls for few bucks
