I’m not too far away from becoming a senior (in high school) now. While others spent this summer going to the mall, dating each other & fucking and going outside - I spent it alone by a computer desk. My parents forced me to study for the SAT bullshit for 8 hours a day, and asked me almost everyday throughout this summer as to why I wasn’t going outside. Like are you fucking serious?

My parents barely let me go out on my own and wondered why I felt like not taking a driving test. What’s the point of getting a car if they don’t let me out on my own? Like, literally, my parents will not let me go outside without telling them. I can’t walk around the block without my mom worrying where the fuck am I as if I care if I got kidnapped or killed.
