Last year I spent a lot of time on OkCupid, Pof and Match. While I never had any success in meeting anyone, and I've since been banned from all of these sites, I got a chance to experiment with a variety of opening lines.
I discovered that "Hey, you know who you look like?" elicits a quick response about 70% of the time. No, it won't make you attractive, but perhaps it could form the basis of a real conversation depending on how you follow up.
So why are foids so responsive to this question? I believe it has something to do with their inborn need for attention. They're hoping you say they look like some beautiful celebrity, which is the ultimate form of validation for them. Regardless of what they say, all foids just want to be famous. They don't care about boring stuff like shared interests, values or character . Just make me believe that I could possibly be famous. Tehee.
Addendum: I don't know if this works on Tinder, as I've never used it before.
