(These are barefoot heights measured at draft combine measurements). And this is what 3 inches looks like as an object (credit card):

Jfl this bs needs to be studied. I refuse to believe height difference perception is this drastic. This is utter bullshit @Cryotron @Nazi_Cel98 @light @VideoGameCoper @Grodd @wereq

This is clown world in action. Fucking hell man I can’t believe how some things work, this is ridiculous

This looks like a 4 inch difference to me (LeBron and Austin reeves). Might be because lebron’s body is tilted towards the camera a bit, still that would be a negligible visual difference in this particular case

They literally take measurments in shoes, the same in american football.

Another thing is that most athletes height are inflated anywhere between one to three inches (i wonder why :feelsjuice:) so desparity *might* be slightly bigger.

Also camera angle.

Now, with that being said i agree about the perception thing. You may autisticly take tape out, and measure the difference to realize "hey its not that much", yet when looking in a "natural setting" your mind will play tricks on you, perceving the slightly taller guy as "much taller".

? Idk there are both on their site. Even if those heights are with shoes on it doesn’t matter because the proportional difference stays the same anyway (give or take 0,25-0,33 “ depending on their shoes)

Unreal the 6’4” dude looks average compared to the tallest guy there

I'm 7 inches shorter than the shortest guy there.

I'm a fucking dwarf compared to those men.
