We all know how manipulative, cruel, psychotic and downright evil women are. This in turn makes marriage a hellish existence that makes even inceldom look rather nice.

But block all of that from your mind for now.

Now imagine a relationship where you and your spouse are both going through this difficult life together. Truly partners in life with someone, no petty arguments, no backstabbing and fear of abandonment, no possibility of cheating. Through thick and thin, there to support each other, to celebrate each other's victories and dampen the losses, to enjoy the little things and make them that much more special. Imagine a person who actually cares about you, who nurtures you and in turn you nurture them.

Such a nice imagine, isn't it? Too bad it's all just fantasy. This thread would've been more realistic if I talked about orcs and goblins.

Knowing that marriage is fake and a scam makes this ragefuel but also makes this the perfect suicidefuel.

Would be awesome to have a faithful and devoted wife to share life with.

The chances of goblins being real are higher than the situation you are describing.

Getting married is the dumbest thing a man can do. No one likes to be married, they only do that because they feel socially pressured to do it.

I refuse to believe there are people who actually think marriage looks like this.

I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in getting married. I had the misfortune of attending a wedding recently, and it just drove home beyond any shadow of a doubt that I don't belong at these occasions and never will. As an introverted, reclusive person, I felt so out of place, in a huge social gathering, and just couldn't wait to get away. The thought of actually being the centre of attention at such an event is horrifying.

Sounds weak to me but to each his own, I guess.
