Anyway what prompted this thread was a recent international news I saw that curryland has passed a law to have 33% seats in its parliament reserved for women. So I did a little digging and saw that everyone is hailing this as a victory for women's rights (which is expected). What was not expected was that the opposition is criticizing the bill because it won't be implemented rn, instead there's a 6 year time period.

Imagine this, literally no one has the balls or the mind to criticize the idea of having such affirmative action in the first place. They are going to keep men locked away from a third of the parliament just so they can play pretend giving women undeserved representation in leadership to achieve their ideological victories. The opposition is criticizing it for not being implemented soon enough lol. That's how far everything as gone
