One cool thing is that the companies producing them don't have huge western investors such as BlackRock, Vanguard or State Street as shareholders, so they ended up being able to produce one of the only DEI-free mediums out there. For me its first because there aint many good western alternatives to watch, like many modern western media is just shit and boring.
While animes make a lot correct in terms of basic storytelling and world building
Second, like already mentioned, because its not with DEI propaganda and you dont get confronted with beein bad because you are male or white
Third because its a way better cope and escapism, because you dont get constantly confronted with real world problems, you can just have 20 minutes that you can enjoy, without fear and without feelin stressed out
Fourth because anime characters are actually likeable, else then modern western characters, I mean anime creatores is able to write an female character which is strong and likeable, this is impossible for modern western writers, whenever they create a female character its always a supreme cunt and annoying as fuck. And because of "the message" this dyke is always the main character
Plus animes are cute and actually funny, without relying on constantly just show smth completly degenerate or pure gore
