How do you even know having a girlfriend would be so good if you never had one?

I suspect that if the current sexual/dating climate is so shit that none of us can get gfs, it would be shit if we somehow managed to ascend. Probably she wouldn’t care about us at all, we’d have to betabux or jestermax and could never really just be ourselves. She probably wouldn’t be a virgin. She would probably cheat because we are ugly. And if we are ugly then I doubt we could get a girl who isn’t hideous as well. Also they get old after a while.

Well, yes, what you're describing is on the rise, but there are still girls out there who are traditional wife material. They are rare and become less and less everyday, but they're still out there, I know quite a handful of such girls who aren't whores and who are in a longterm relationships at the moment. It's true that there are nice feelings associated with relationships. But these feelings are fleeting and shallow. Kierkegaard says that repetition is the enemy of pleasure. Being with the same girl will get old after a while, and your infatuation will fade. In psychology this is called the Coolidge Effect, where your attraction to the same girl wanes the more you fuck her. Also she gets old after a while. Relationships are also a source of suffering. When we think about love, we always focus on the positive aspects but never the dark underside, such as the obsession, jealousy, betrayal, and violence it causes. Really, I think we just like love so much because it offers a distraction for the emptiness and loneliness of our lives. It's just another cope like video games or porn. Which makes it shallow.

This is the crux of the issue. Individual existence is basically an illusion. Individuals are the product of social, political, and historical forces. We all get exposed to these same things and become more or less similar in our worldview and behaviors. Sure people like to differentiate themselves in nasty little ways. Some people will like sports ball or some will like traveling. But the disavowed values and beliefs are all instilled in them by the same forces.

For example, attitudes towards individualism in the west have made people primarily self interested. This has basically made relationships meaningless. In the past, a couple was seen as a single moral being. But now people are only concerned with themselves and their own pleasure and well being and don't know how to exist for someone else. Even the "trad" people or whatever still just act in their own self interest. Even if I got in a relationship, it would only be for selfish reasons, like to distract myself from the emptiness and loneliness of my life.
