The Utopia Rat experiments have taught us that the better the world gets, the worse people become. As the world develops and improves, humans get bored and start inventing problems for themselves. The less time they devote to things that matter (foraging for food, building shelter), the more time they devote towards nonsensical debates over pointlessly harmful activities (circumcision, school despawnings).
:blackpill::blackpill::blackpill:

If society ever reaches a utopia, humans will simply become so excessively degenerate that everyone is more miserable than before. Everyone will be fat, sick, and disabled, and will probably start buttfucking babies with pinecones for sport or something. I don’t know, but something incredibly stupid, harmful, and completely pointless. They’ll then have debates on television discussing the ethics of fucking babies with pinecones or whether being 600lbs is good for you.

For a historical example of this, according to the Torah, when the Jews were wandering the desert for 40 years, they stopped circumcising their children. Why? Because they had more pressing issues than cutting up baby dicks, like figuring out how to survive in the desert.

Anecdotal story, I knew a guy with super rich parents. His parents were so rich, this guy would never have to work a day in his life. All he had to do to live a good life was stay alive and stay healthy. Everything else had already been done for him.
He got hooked on meth, ruined his body, and has been in and out of rehab for the last few years. His parents may have disowned him, but I’m not sure.

Now imagine all of society throwing away their Golden Ticket to a good life just like him.

Nice post, I agree. That being said, wouldn't mind being exceedingly rich, but eventually I would probably get bored and start doing drugs all the time.

This is a very insightful post about human nature, this is what is missing from nearly every political debate, this literally sits above every other issue as being of first order importance.

If you dont solve this problem EVERYTHING ELSE BECOMES IRRELEVANT, as every "issue" is about how to "make society better" or improving conditions. However if "improvement" of material conditions leads to the problems you have described, the issue of "improvement" BECOMES TOTALLY VOID, AS IT LEADS TO A WORSENED STATE OF HUMANITY NOT AN IMPROVED ONE, WITH INCREASED INEQUALITY NOT MORE HARMONY.

unironically high iq post, im gonna elab on some of my thoughts in another post too rn

True, but opposite is also the same. I don't know how many poor people you know, but very often they are worse than beasts. I know many and they are all angry, depressed, resentful, abuse everything for a rush of dopamine.

You wouldn’t be the first, and you won’t be the last.

Look at Calum Von Moger. His dad’s in a fucking wheelchair, so what does he do? He devotes his life towards giving his son the opportunities he never had, and it works.

Calum grows up to be a tall, rich, Chad bodybuilder actor that literally plays Arnold in his biopic.

And then what happens? Calum takes the perfect life his dad built for him, hops on meth, and jumps out a window, possibly paralyzing himself (just like his old man).

What a joke. His crippled dad gives everything he has to give his son a better life, and Calum literally throws it all out a window.
