Has anyone ever had teachers complain - either verbally or through end-of-year documentation - that you "closed yourself in an internal world and refused to pair bond", or that you "hid yourself in internal world building", among other similar expressions?
I was ashamed of being like this, but not anymore.
First off, they have to be really fucking stupid, blind or psychopathic to not realize why that internal world was created in the first place. It's created in cases where the kid (statistically speaking a boy) is ostracized, bullied (by peers but sometimes by the teachers themselves), has problems at home, and overall occupies a lower position in all the hierarchies he's FORCED to be in. There's no way teachers were not aware of the rampant bullying that went on in recess, because I kept seeing those fuckers bolt to the coffee room, so that they wouldn't have to get involved.
Second, the necessity for this internal world building is amplified if underlying health problems are present. So the necessity is a symptom of something else, not the root cause. I should've been put on medical leave until these things were figured out.
Third, if I didn't develop that internal world, I would've been mind raped. Would've been more prone to scams, social pressures, being naive (e.g. leading me to a path of becoming someone's beta bux deluxe). It's a PROTECTIVE LAYER, similarly to sun blocking creams for the skin.
Fourth, unless these teachers wanted to approach this problem constructively, it was none of their fucking business. I've had teachers who were bald. I've had teachers who were ugly. I've had teachers who were divorced. Some were sub5 all around. I never probed them on those things because I had the awareness that doing that was uncomfortable.
