Attractive men certainly get a TON of leeway when it comes to how abhorrent their personality can be and still get positive attention from women, but this doesn't necessarily mean that the way people act has no relation when it comes to getting positive attention from women. IMO, the more average you are, the more your personality comes into play, even if the maximum effect that it could have is minute.

The uglier / more handsome you are, the more your looks override the way you act.

There is a grey area where you are too ugly to not have a girl basically serve herself up on a platter to you, but not ugly enough to not have a girl give you a chance. If you are in this area and not NT you are effectively a mentalcel.
