The modern era marks an unprecedented moment in history where there are more disenfranchised men than ever before. Previously, being a man came with intrinsic value, whether it was for your strength, intelligence, ability to provide and work, and so forth. Nowadays, there are perhaps hundreds of millions of men who serve no purpose and merely exist on this Earth to provide value by increasing the GDP, if they are lucky. The era where men were explorers, inventors, thinkers, and leaders is now an era of the past, and even knowledge of this history is slowly being wiped from the minds of the masses. Women and money are the new gods of this day and age.
Understandably, these truths do not sit well with any self-respecting man, for his current existence is contrary to his very nature. Some men try to drown out their sorrows by abusing substances, others try to distract themselves through various hobbies or activities, some turn themselves into abominations in hopes that doing so will fill the void in their souls, and others still turn to politics or activism believing that somehow, they can be the force that is necessary to swing the pendulum in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, history shows that these efforts too will end in futility.
The most recent example of this is showcased by the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA). TPUSA is arguably one of the largest and most influential right-wing activist groups in America, and many of its most fervent followers are young men. Despite the group being founded in 2012, if we track the trajectory of politics and society since then, it becomes obvious that things have only gotten worse, not better, for young men. I am not arguing that TPUSA is directly responsible for this decline, but rather that it was wholly ineffective in preventing it. Men have been pushed aside and marginalized more and more both politically and in terms of their role in society.
The purpose of TPUSA, and other such organizations, is to act as a pressure relief valve and to direct the time and energy of these disenfranchised young men towards useless endeavors which will make them feel like they are making a difference, when ultimately all they are doing is akin to a hamster spinning around and around in a wheel, believing that it's going somewhere. In the event that the group starts to stray away from this purpose, or starts to show signs that it is too large to control, it will be destroyed, hollowed out, and replaced by a similar group of which these are hundreds lined up and ready to go. Is this not what we saw with Charlie Kirk's assassination? As soon as he stepped out of line and started talking about Jewish influence in politics, he was brutally executed in front of his followers and was replaced by his wife as the head of TPUSA. His wife, who, just like everyone else, already long forgot about Kirk. It is safe to say that TPUSA is finished, and will never have the same influence or fervor that it had under Kirk.
However, this fate is not exclusive to Charlie Kirk. Even Nick Fuentes, leader of America First, will either be reined in or corrupted by the people who have actual power and influence, or will be discarded if he grows too large. In fact, a failed attempt on his life was already made last year, and there are certainly more that will follow. The only reason why Fuentes is allowed to have a platform, a show, or is even alive is because he too serves as a pressure relief valve. So far, has America First managed to convince any politicians to enact legislation that furthers its goals? Has it managed to implant anyone in the government who is truly America First? Of course, one may argue that America First is still too young of a movement to have such influence, and that it requires more time to gather influence. To this, I would retort by stating that there is almost no time left to make a difference. The decline of society is accelerating, and at some point it will become too dysfunctional to be repaired, and people themselves will be too divided and passive to do anything about it.
The thoughts I have laid forth here are not to make a statement on my political beliefs, nor are they my opinions on TPUSA or America First and their founders. Indeed, we are playing a game of chess against an entity who is both our opposition and the referee. They are willing to lie, cheat, and manipulate as long as it ensures their victory. Meanwhile, we have no choice but to follow the rules and always make our next move from a disadvantaged position. For this problem men are facing today, I unfortunately have no solution, and even if I did, I too would be discarded immediately. Perhaps the best we can do is prepare, and get ready to shelter ourselves from the fallout that will ensue.
