Think of it this way: there are thousands of religions out there so even if you were to place your bet on one of them it would be a shot in the dark. Even if we just look at one of the biggest religions like islam and christianity with over 2 billion followers, if we were to assume that one of them is right then that basically damns 6 billion people which is just comical considering those religions claim to have a loving, benign God.
