Every single argument against sexualization is pure nonsense.
They are fictional characters, and since they are fictional, they cannot feel any form of pain; therefore, they don’t suffer from being sexualized. The same thing applies to killing characters in video games. There is no “crime” since there are no “victims.”

There are women who may feel uneasy or jealous because of this.
This problem can be said about every single media ever created. Every media and every fictional character can be viewed as offensive and can make anyone jealous for various reasons. If someone is offended by it, then that means this media is not fitting for this person, and they simply should leave it. Also, every woman every day probably sees a few women who are better looking than her. Should they be banned too?

This creates unrealistic beauty standards.
Many, if not most, so-called “unrealistic” characters can exist in real life. Women with large breasts exist. Women with beautiful and youthful appearances too. Even if some of them truly look unrealistic, well, fiction is not meant to be real. It's escapism that very often showcases idealistic characters both in terms of look and personality. If you can’t differentiate reality from fiction, then it’s your problem. Also, same thing as in the previous point – if this offends you, then this is not for you. Just move on.

Men will expect real women to look like that.
Is there any study to back this claim? Same thing with violence in video games – people believed this caused violent behavior, yet it was proven false.

Men will see women as sex objects rather than human beings.
Again, is there any study to back this claim? Also, if men can’t differentiate reality from fiction, then it’s their problem.

Sexualizing/objectifying fictional characters is a sign of a lack of respect for women.
How so? By this logic, sex is also a sign of a lack of respect. Men can be aroused by attractive women and still respect them.

Also, the funny thing is, women on their own wear revealing clothes, and people see nothing wrong with this. In modern days, sexuality has stopped being taboo and is embraced, yet fictional characters who are pervy are bad?

high iq
i wish more insufferable normies understood this
this goes for lolis too :bigbrain:

The people who cry about this have no problem with male characters being "Sexualized" Or male nudity.

High IQ post. Bump. "unrealistic beauty standards" are one of the most hilarious and hypocritical ideas feminists have. What's wrong with unrealistic beauty standards? Well according to feminists they're too difficult for women to live up to. Why do women have to live up to them? For male attention and partners. So by using the term "unrealistic beauty standards" women are admitting that they believe they should be entitled to male attention no matter what.
