1. One does not equal the other, the fact that winners and losers must exist doesn't mean that anyone SHOULD be happy about anything.

2. There were still winners and losers when women didn't have rights, the pool of people who were winners and losers was just smaller. Women being allowed to be hypergamous has widened that pool, and that leads to social instability and chaos. This is not a good thing in the long term.
