The issue with therapy is most therapists, specially more amateur/local ones but even veterans, are used to dealing with issues that fits within neurotypicality or Bluepill philosophy; it is moreso a place for emotionally susceptible regular people to vent their frustrations about their life and talk about trauma with the therapist only there to really nudge them in the 'right' direction, even those that enter with problems hinting to Blackpill and start having genetic determinism-aligned thoughts don't genuinely believe in what's troubling them so will latch onto any way to escape that mindset back to the Bluepill state. Even when we look at the mental illnesses they are used to, it's normally induced by short but intense past events or still normie-aligned, meaning that the person likely can change as long the therapist is competent as a guide.
At first, this sounds like a good thing and should mean that they are able to handle more heavier things like Inceldom, Blackpill, severe depression, extremism etc but the ironic thing is that as these 'therapists' are so used to people aligned with societal norms, it actively stunts their ability to understand and 'help' an individual that falls outside of it; which is why they heavily rely on medication to basically fake your treatment, ignoring how often people relapse once off treatment and how damaging the treatment really is.
Despite how much they were taught academically, without the experience or emotional intelligence needed to actually help you, they will only fumble around and actively hurt you. And when on a fundamental level, their entire life philosophy opposes your i.e Bluepill vs Blackpill, they will only feel frustrated over their lack of understanding on your thought process and fuck up or even antagonise you instead; for the lurkers reading this, whether or not it is 'justified' in your eyes doesn't matter as just using a bit more brainpower would make you understand why that is not a good thing in a therapeutical standpoint.
It's harder to find articles on Inceldom/Blackpill so I will be focusing genuine depression this point onwards to highlight my point aka "severe" depression, not the 'depression' people usually don't realise is just them wanting genuine care from others/hating aspects of their life with no real suicidal intent or ideation. (honestly weird how official medical sources and multiple studies on it acknowledge that 'common' depression has no real suicidal ideation and people just finding an easy way to vent i.e imagining death yet still calls it depression
how the hell can it be depression without actually wanting to kill yourself or real genuine thoughts of it that isn't on the whim?)
And there is a bigger issue with this, as well as most studies which actually touch on how well therapy works including the ones that shitty AI sources, which is that they never truly tell you the amount of individuals that genuinely were treated as most would be over a short period of time i.e 1-2 months of post-therapy period which allows them would artificially boost up the number of 'treated' with at most 4-5 months on the bigger ones.
Over longer periods of time, a ton of the people that are supposedly 'treated' relapse some time after the end of their ''treatment''; according to this article NHS observed more than half of the people who 'recover' from it will relapse with far worse symptoms each subsequential time they go through the treatment, whether it is antidepressants or talk therapy.
Let me repeat that. On BJGB, a journel for ROYAL COLLEGE OF PRACTITIONERS, NHS looking at the entirety of UK's medical records observed over half of the supposedly 'treated' depressed individuals are then fucked over even worse by the therapy they received after relapsing.
Over for therapy copers.
Funny thing is that anti-depressants work by increasing serotonin or noradrenaline, which can and will can fuck over your GABA levels over a long period of time/semi-permanently and commonly does for most people. This doesn't sound like much but that makes you far more susceptible to anxiety, insomnia, seizures, mood disorders and (SHIT YOU NOT) contribute to you developing new mental conditions or further worsening your overall mental health making you have an even worse view on life; it is a temporary treatment that SHOULD be used heavily sparsely yet therapists throw this mental atomic bombs willy nilly as they can't do shit without it to the point where a shit ton would give you these meds UNRELATED to depression because it 'works so well'.
According to this article by NHS, a total of 89 million antidepressant drug items were prescribed in the UK in 2022/2023, which absolutely dwarfs the mere amount of people in the UK with severe depression or very similar conditions on antidepressant medication even when you consider how much they would take over the course of how many treatment periods therapists manage to squeeze out of them; showing how fucking common this shit really is to be thrown around to unrelated ND.
These big mental health organisations obviously recognise this, but they don't care about you inkwell nor do they care about other serious ND folk, we are just walking piggy banks to them and honestly better off for them to keep us keep coming rather than genuinely treated. Can't even cope on how this is just founded on shitty small studies, this is highly acclaimed health organisations that used hundreds of thousands or tens of millions as subjects, it is very documented on how horrible therapy really is but underreported on to the public. Why? To keep people to stay coming and let normies continue seeing it as a genuine option for the ND that aren't just actually normies with trauma/faking it.
Even with how normies are slowly already are noticing the holes, they very much severely underestimate how shitty it really is. Just stop coping that therapy will work in any way for us, especially for the diagnosed ND ones such as myself.

Over 100 thousand people was observed in this case study on severe depression, yet those have 4x higher chance of being thrown at antidepressants that may work over a measily 13% chance for even the bare minimum of talk therapy that did anything jfl. This is not telling you how many were TREATED by therapy vs antidepressants but how many received either that actually DID something. Yeah, only 13% of talk therapy actually did any meaningful change to these people's lives.Of these, 13% received minimally adequate counseling/psychotherapy. In contrast, there were more who received minimally adequate antidepressant therapy (48%). https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4910409
