From a functional point of view, I can't see the difference between psychotherapy and a criminal organization targeting ugly men for money.

Psychotherapy promises ugly men the possibility of happiness and sexual success while these possibilities are rendered null by natural laws and genetic determinism. In exchange, they ask for a hourly rate in the area of 50 to 100 USD (100 USD is half the yearly salary of a factory worker in a developing country).

This is fraud and should be condemned as such by the Bureau of Consumer Protection.

I usually take the side of experts and credentials against the layman, but in the case of psychology, I will always do the exact reverse.
