There is nothing a therapist can tell or do that will change my circumstances; I am fundamentally suboptimal because of my genetics, inconsolable, and there is no meaningful path to change other than a long list of expensive surgeries. Therapy only bears fruit for those with clear, fixable nonissues — it is utterly useless for men like us. Why would I even need to consult some random person who likely has no clue how devastatingly brutal my predicament is? It is absurd.

To them, it isn't about solving the root of the issue, but about brainwashing you to accept the unfavorable circumstance you find yourself in, to be a timid slave to society, who dares not complain about anything. Your problems, who you are, and what you feel will simply be pathologized based on a quasi-religious framework, not logic or reason.
