Newton's Three Laws of Motion:
This law states that every particle of matter in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers. Mathematically, it's expressed as F = Gm1m2/r², where F is the gravitational force, G is the gravitational constant, m1 and m2 are the masses of the objects, and r is the distance between them.
- 1. First Law (Law of Inertia):
An object at rest stays at rest, and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
- 2. Second Law (Law of Acceleration):
The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass. This can be expressed as F=ma (Force equals mass times acceleration).
- 3. Third Law (Law of Action-Reaction):
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. When one object exerts a force on another, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first.
