The worst thing that people every say to me is something that gives me false hope.
They say that I’d have lots of friends if only I did this, or did that.
They say that I could get a girlfriend in 5 minutes.
They say that I would be popular if I joined a club.
I am 45 years old and never been on a date.
I have zero friends.
Even my neighbors don’t speak to me.
Believe me, I have already tried the shit they are suggesting.
It just makes me angry when they say these things.
Because I know that they don’t even believe it themselves.
They imagine they are being inspiring.
Yet, I can never overlook that their inspiration points me in a different direction.
They tell me to go be friends with someone else……..but not them.
If I’m such a great guy…….then why isn’t that foid, who just said that shit, dating me?
Yeah, I’d be so popular in a club, but the jackass who just said I would be……..will not even give me their phone number.
If the person telling you these things……will not be friends with you themselves………then their words are meaningless.
