I was just presented with this interesting dilemma in a dream.

You're somehow in a social (party-like) situation. A girl comes to you and says her female friend in interested is you, but tells you to wait because her friend is shy and she will be the one arranging everything for you two to get together. You do wait. After a while, you go check out the situation and find that the girl who wants you is nowhere to be seen and the arranging girl is in a fight with her boyfriend; the typical "abusive relationship" situation where cucks/foids will say the girl is entitled to your help: her bf is being a dick to her and threatening physical violence, but she kinda puts up with it and you know that in the end of the day he still fucks her.

You (somehow) know for certain that:

1) The whole situation is legit and not a prank or something. You will get with your girl and kiss/very likely fuck if you intervene in favor of the arranging friend
2) Your girl is average looking. 5/10.
3) There's no way to circumvent the "whiteknight intervention clause" and go directly to your girl. If you don't invervene and whiteknight the arranging friend, you never get to see either of the girls anymore in your life.
4) The arranging girl is not your "friend" or particularly cool to you or anything. You just met her and she's only doing it on her shy friend's interest.
5) The arranging girl's bf is about your looks, height, frame and fighting skill -match level, so you know it's not hopeless to try to intervene; violence is likely to break, but even if you get your ass beaten the arranging friend will still get you to the your girl.

You know that even if you go on a date with a girl, there is still a million ways you could prevent yourself from getting laid (if you're ugly). You just can't project your rules into real world, so hardly to predict anyone's actual actions in this fabulous situation. When i get into it, how i can be 100% sure that if i don't help i won't meet her shy friend? How can i be sure that if i help, i 100% meet, and what's more important FUCK that shy friend?
It's about sureness. In real life you can't be sure, thus you base your judgements and decisions on probablities, so, that's it.

Alright, if you go like that, i would say that 5/10 is barely enough. It's no-profit situation. You get to fight with your strengthmatch, to be sure that you get 5/10 girl. So you have to beat/being beaten up by him to get 5/10. Like you give one dollar for one dollar. No profit, shy friend girl must be 6-7/10 at very least to make sure i will interfere.

I think the more suitable option for you would be the second one. You have to walk into the situation and intervene, which leads to confront between you and the (already pissed) guy. Calling the police or something is not an option, let's say it's over before the police arrives.

I do not whiteknight a women unless they invest in me (receive sex / dating / relationship).
